Makeup Geek Eyeshadows: Peach Smoothie, Corrupt, Moondust

Hi everyone! It's been a reaaaaally long while since I've updated this blog! I figured I should dedicate my channel to tutorials, giveaways and some exceptional products that I want to review. I'll try to update this blog, twice a week! :)

So today, I'll be showing you some quick swatches of the Makeup Geek Eyeshadows that I got just today!! I ordered them from Kalm Cosmetics for only 989 pesos for three pans of eyeshadows!! They're the official distributor of Makeup Geek in the Philippines so you get them at the lowest price possible.

L-R: Moondust, Peach Smoothie, Corrupt

They came in refill pans but you can purchase them with a compact. You could also place this in a palette if you already have one. The paper packaging is really cute!
L-R: Corrupt, Moondust, Peach Smoothie

Top to Bottom: Moondust, Corrupt, Peach Smoothie

Peach Smoothie A light peach beige with a soft matte finish
I wasn't too in love with this shade. When swatched on paper, it appears really pigmented, however when swatched on my hand, it barely made an appearance. Maybe because it blends too much with my skin? I haven't tried applying it on my eyes with a primer. I hope that would make the color pop out.
The texture is very silky and non-powdery at all. It glides really well onto the skin.

Corrupt Intense matte black with a very subtle sparkle

This has to be the BLACKEST BLACK eyeshadow ever!! I love how it has a tiny specks of sparkle in it. It helps the eyeshadow from looking too flat and uninteresting. The color payoff is extremely good. It's not chalky which is great for a dark eyeshadow since you want to avoid all the fallouts. I am extremely happy with this purchase, I recommend everyone to grab this color! You'll easily get the most gorgeous smokey eye with this shadow. It this price point, it's very comparable to other more expensive eyeshadows.

Moondust Metallic silver taupe

Ah, this one has to be my favorite from this bunch. The color is sooooo intricate and gorgeous and rustic. I can't wait to use this on a tutorial. It's a great neutral color that's very dimensional. Not too warm, not too cool. It's has a very gorgeous metallic sheen that appears to be a bit silvery, a bit golden at the same time.

Those are my initial thoughts! I can't wait to create tutorials with these gorgeous eyeshadows! I'm really crazy about Corrupt and Moondust! I hope I could be able to work with the Peach Smoothie as well. I'm dying to try other colors as well. I'm eyeing Poolside, Mermaid, Envy, Drama Queen, Simply Marlena, Twilight and Ice Queen! Gosh that's quite a lot!

Thank you for reading!

xoxo,
Clarissa
