TUTORIAL: Cocoa and Plum Glam

Hi everyone! Here's a look inspired by chocolates with a hint of purple. :) Definitely reminds me of Cadbury! Yummy.

Read more to check out the video for this look. :)

1. Start with a well moisturized face and apply your cream foundation with a flat brush. Stipple over areas that need more coverage and swirl on areas that need less. I'm using my Pinkie Swear Cream foundation to double up as a concealer for my under eye area and blemishes. Just gently pat and blend away.

2. Use a very light powder to set the foundation over under eye area, and the high points of the face to highlight.

3. Next, select a powder that matches your skin tone and apply it to the rest of the face.

4. Contour using a powder 2-3 shades darker than your skin tone and sculpt under the cheekbones, temples, jawline, along the hairline and down your nose.

5. Fill in and define your brows using a brown pencil and blend with a mascara brush.

6. Bring some color back into your face by applying a peachy pink blush and apply it across your cheekbones

7. For the eye makeup, start with applying an eye primer to make the shadows last all night long.

8. With a matte purple shade, apply it with a flat shader brush all over the lid and blend out the harsh edges with a fluffy brush

9. With a medium brown shade define the crease area using the same fluffy brush.

10. Select a deep brown color, intensify the outer V area to give the eyes more dimension. Run the same deep brown shade along the lower lash line for a smokey look.

11. Apply a shimmery light pink shade to highlight your inner corners and brow bone  This will make your eyes more awake and bright.

12. Use a matte black shadow as a liner by applying it wet with a slanted brush. This will softly define the eyes. Don't forget to apply some on your lower lash line as well.

13. Next, apply some mascara. Avoid clumping your lashes by wiping off the excess mascara in the brush. And wiggle the brush to evenly coat each lashes. Show some love to your lashes too.

14. Doll up the look by applying a set of false lashes. Apply a thin strip of lash glue and let it dry for about 20 seconds until it becomes tacky. Apply the falsies with a tweezer to precisely position them

15. Finish up the look with a neutral lip shade. Im using a NYX round lipstick in the shade thalia.
