Valentine's Day Date Makeup using Local Products!

Ciao, bellas!

Valentine's Day is just around the corner.
This look will make you look fresh and blooming without looking too overboard. Enhancing your natural beauty is the key to a date perfect makeup look. You can use this look during a day or night date. I chose to use lots of locally available cosmetics. Preparing for a date looks should not be expensive.

I curled my hair by just using bobby pins and no heat! If you want to know how I did this hairstyle, just comment or message me so I can show it to you guys.

  1. Start with a clean and well moisturized face. Don't forget to put your eyecream to make your concealer blend well onto the skin.
  2. Using your ring finger and gently pat your concealer in your undereye area. Blend the edges well.
  3. Apply a water-based foundation using a flat top brush. I'm using the elf studio powder brush. Stipple the foundation on to your face to even out your skin tone. You can go over areas that you want more coverage again.
  4. Using a cream blush, apply some to the apples of your cheek for a natural looking blush.
  5. Set your foundation and blush with powder. Use your brush to pat the powder on your face to set it.
  6. Fill in your brows with a brow powder. Use a medium to a light brown shade to avoid harsh looking brows. You want it to look uniform without looking drawn in. Use a spoolie brush to blend in the powder
  7. Use a medium brown shade on the crease area to give the eyes more depth. Blend the harsh lines with any fluffy brush to make it look natural.
  8. Next, use a pinkish brown shade and apply it on the lids. Blend it with the brown shade.
  9. Use a white shimmering pigment, highlight your browbone. Use the same pigment to place a dot in the tearduct area to make your eyes look brighter. Be sure to blend it to make it look natural.
  10. Using a pencil eye liner, tightline the eyes to make the lashes appear fuller. Use the same pencil liner to line the upper lash line. Stay close to your lashes to have a natural look. You can make a thicker line if you have hooded lids to make the liner show up when you open your eyes.
  11. Curl your lashes and apply one or two coats of mascara. Make sure to wiggle the mascara wand left and right to avoid clumping.
  12. Avoid using sticky lipgloss and very pigmented lipsticks. Your date wouldn't want to get lip products on his own lips, would he? Lip stains are perfect for a kissable lip. Concentrate the color on the center part of the lips and let the color blend on your lips naturally. Apply a lip balm on top to avoid dry lips.

  1. that's a pretty result. i've always read about negative reviews about drugstore products but looking at your video, they totally look alright to me.
